It must be at least 10 years since this verse first challenged me - and it is still at work in me now.
The word ‘murmuring’ literally means ‘a grumbling’, and ‘disputing’ has to do with argument and debate. So, its meaning would be clearer by saying, ‘Do all things without grumbling (whinging, complaining) [...]
